Poetry

Childhood

From the sandy soil of the village,
The fresh fragrance of full grown crops,
Greenery all around in the fields,
Reminding me of oblivious memories
The noise of humming, chirping on the flowers,
An enchanting Music to my ears.

Working hard, covered in soil
Adorning oneself in beautiful makeup
Planting in the fields with songs,
With blowing air, far somewhere,
The temple bells are adding melodies
Attracting me even today.

Bonfire in the cold nights
Stories of my grandparents and their laps
Lost the warmth of my loved ones
left behind a long ago
Quarreling and patchups with friends
Those most emotional expressions
Trying to pen in a few verses
The endless emotions from my childhood.
